About

I am a stay at home mommy of two and loving every minute.
I have never been a "kid" person but when people say, "it's different when they're yours" that is as true as it gets for me!  Finding myself in this role is certainly not where I could have easily pictured myself several years back but now that I'm here I am living it up!

I was so lucky to have married an amazing man and my best friend- so cliche but so true.  John is in the Air Force which in itself brings both many challenges and blessings on our family.  We are the transplanting type (compliments of the US Air Force) and we have moved every two to three years since we've been married.  We started off in Utah in 2005 and were in Arizona from fall of 2007 till January 2011.  Now we find ourselves in our own vacation destination in Florida.  Luckily, we both enjoy the adventures that a move cross the country or even on the other side of the globe brings.  I am very much Pro-marriage and very much Pro-"My Husband!"  We make a pretty good team and he pretty much rocks his role as a husband and dad!

In my previous life, my career path was Athletic Training.  A fun field if you like sports but with the long and/or strange hours required and very little compensation, I'm not rushing to get back to that.

I am an organic kind of person- pretty simple and easy to get along with, appreciates God's gorgeous creation and I have my head in the clouds most of the time.  My husband and I are like Dharma and Greg where he's super A-type and organized and I'm pretty much a hippy- it really works out well for me.   I love all things art and recreation!  I enjoy sewing, photography, hiking, skiing, biking, rock climbing, working out, cooking, and just striving to be the best mommy I can be!   I dabble in knitting, I like to make my babies food's from scratch (not to say it always happens that way though) and I'm trying out cloth diapering.  I'm also considering home schooling my kids (oh my gosh..  did I really say that?!) - at least for the elementary years but we'll see what comes out of that in a few years.

My faith is a huge part of me.  I didn't know my Savior until late in college and each day since has been a growing experience where some days I grow toward Him and unfortunately some days I take a step backwards but all I can do is take a deep breath and start each day anew!
"I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."     - Philippians 3:14
